Jackets
Our custom leather kart jackets feature a number of variations to suit your needs and comfort requirements. Kart jackets include as standard, a custom tailored fit unique to you, 7” brass sleeve zippers and a full liner. You can add optional leather elbow and shoulder pads to afford extra protection in common impact areas. Kart jackets are fully lined and finished. Every kart jacket we produce is custom made using your measurements.
Also available is the option of two different weights of leather to suit your individual driving preferences. You can have either the full competition weight top grain cowhide, which offers the utmost in abrasion protection and durability, or you may opt for the slightly lighter kart weight leather, which offers a lighter and more flexible fit. The lighter kart weight leather is available in black, white, blue, grey, orange, and red. Most karters prefer the lighter weight leather. The full weight competition leather is slightly more expensive.
As
in all our custom products, you can outfit your jacket with a variety of padding
options should you desire it.
We offer
leather pads, and
closed cell foam.
Ventilation is also available.
For custom logos and lettering, we are pleased to offer embroidery options, both standard and custom (priced on request), to our customers in addition to our hand-cut leather lettering and artwork. Popular embroidery choices include first names, class championships, club names, state outlines and championship years. Almost anything is possible if you want it!
